All kids can learn to read when they receive effective instruction grounded in the science of reading, along with the right support at school. As the parent of a dyslexic child, I understand the emotional toll of watching your child struggle with reading and writing. My son's journey fuels my passion for helping parents and children navigate reading challenges and find success in school and beyond.

Effective Reading Instruction

Effective reading instruction is grounded in the science of reading.  I ensure that each child receives personalized support, through private tutoring, advocating for effective school support, or foundational reading assessments.

Structured Literacy is founded on the fact that learning to read does not come naturally. The large body of research known as the science of reading has shown us how the brain learns to read and how to effectively teach reading. 

Approach:

The Orton-Gillingham approach is characterized by systematic, sequential, and cumulative instruction that is explicitly taught using a multisensory component. Instruction is diagnostic and personalized to a students' needs.
